My longtime friend Seven has undergone a double mastectomy this week. She was rushed to the ER with severe pain, heat, and swelling in her breasts. Tests revealed that she had mastitis, and that further testing was needed. They found cancer spread throughout Seven's milk ducts, but luckily, they caught it before it spread to her lymph nodes.

Seven and her husband Ben own and operate McFarlane Canvas, a small marine canvas business where they outfit boats with t-tops, cushions, boat covers, etc. They do all the work themselves, so naturally, production will slow while Seven recovers.
